Annual Binding Challenge
An individual challenge for bookbinders guided by co-chair Nicole Cotten
22 for 22
2022’s challenge is very similar to the 2021 challenge structure. We send out emails every two weeks with a structure for you to try out yourself, however, we would like to shift some of the discussion focus to any book you’re working on at that time. You can use these meetings to share your progress and ask technical or conceptual questions about your piece. The challenge is to try creating 22 different book structures within the year of 2022. The most important objective of this group is to help you keep binding and keep experimenting with new structures and materials. It’s up to you whether you want to share something new every time, join just to listen, or if you only want to sign up for our potentially erratic emails.

The zoom meetings are still held every other Thursday at 7:00pm MST. This challenge is free and open to anyone who is interested. Email Nicole at cotten303@gmail.com to sign up for emails and receive the zoom link. Everyone who signed up for 21 for 21 must sign up again, so we know you still want to hear from us.
